21. Cheryl Tiegs: chaotic order. Cheryl Tiegs once again comes out with her famous sex hair and we cannot but wonder whether she will ever change.

In fact, it fits women of all ages and all social statuses and can be easily turned into a hairdo for a special occasion by just adding a flower or a headband to the hair. 23. Kathryn Bigelow: keep it simple. Let’t be honest: this long layered cut would look way better had the actress added more volume to it. Although, this hairstyle has the right to exist as a casual simple style great for running errands in the city.

24. Valerie Perrine: highlighted ends. Valerie Perrine looks happy not just because of her innate positive energy but also thanks to the correctly highlighted ends. The ash blonde color on this simple hairstyle creates an overall natural look and we cannot but wonder how the actress manages to keep her spirits up at her age.

Well, the secret is quite simple here- a good hairdresser. Go for this look if you have naturally thick hair and know how to maintain blond color. 25. Ann Turkel: new classics. This beautiful dark blond gingerish hair color deserves a higher place in all the rankings, as it perfectly emphasizes Ann’s warm skin tone and lack of any imperfections whatsoever. The haircut is in perfect balance with the color and suits most face shapes.

If you have a nice forehead, you can pull the bangs back or sweep it to the side for a more open face illusion. 26. Priscilla Presley: sleek and chic. You might have noticed that we already have Priscilla Presley in our list, so what- new hair style deserves some special attention and Priscilla definitely takes pride in it.

Here her hairstyle is very simple and easy to achieve for women with thinner hair. Just part it in half and use hair straightener for an extra sleek look. The asymmetrical front and end strands create a nice bold look which you can easily get if you feel this is who you are. 27. Christie Brinkley: golden age.

This gorgeous hairdo is worn over the shoulder showing off the stunningly defined waves added to the mid-lengths to ends adding plenty of bounce and movement to this style. The shape of this hairstyle makes it perfect to compliment a long face and great to turn heads at special occasion.

Christie Brinkley again shows us how Hollywood golden age divas should look like. 28. Jane Seymour: gorgeous. Layers cut from the mid-lengths to ends of this gorgeous light copper mane encourages the movement and bounce of the very light waves to give this look plenty of glamour and wow factor. The fringe is cut and swept to one side to soften the over all style and completes the look perfectly.

29. Lynda Carter: thick and voluminous. We can all envy this stunning mane of this actress and wish we had the hair of her thickness and richness.

Well, I hope there are other women out there with natually heavy hair who can take inspiration from this look and style it as perfectly as Lynda Carter does here- sleek roots and curly ends. 30. Morgan Fairchild: the seduction. A combination of medium to long layers cut all through the back, sides and top balances out the body and bounce of the waves added all over to give this fabulous hairstyle volume and shape.

This look is great not only for any special occasion and is easy to recreate with the right tools. The hair color creates a nice contrast with the impeccable skin and is a must-do for women of the same skin type as Morgan Fairchild.

These gorgeous women prove that women over sixty can and should take pride in their beautiful long hair, as age is just a number and beauty is not as fading we might think.

Fine hair is often described as silky or baby soft. It has a beautiful, touchable texture. Fine hair is also typically usually confused with . Fine hair could actually be sparse or abundant, but what makes hair fine is the diameter of each hair strand. It is smaller than average hair. Because of its delicate texture, it is prone to breakage and has a tendency to fall flat. However with proper care, the right haircut, and style, you’ll be able to make your gorgeous angelic mane look its best!

Check out these stunning hairstyles for fine hair. Instagram Q&A with style creator, Blair Curtis Stylist/Salon Owner @ Roots Salon in Jeffersonville, IN How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it? I would describe this look as a blended highlight mixed with some mocha lowlights to give more of a natural dimensional look.

I think my favorite thing about this look is the different contrasts of tones throughout the hair so she appears to have thicker and fuller hair than she actually has. What products do you recommend to maintain and recreate this look? Start off with a very small amount of Moroccan Oil at the ends and work your way up the hair strand (be careful not to get it on the scalp or your hair will appear oily).

If regular Moroccan Oil is too heavy, you can always try Moroccan Oil Lite. Secondly, use Rusk Blofoam by making parts into the hair and spraying it directly on the scalp. For added texture you can spray some throughout the hair. Lastly, I round brushed her hair using a large-sized boar bristle brush and finished her off with Sebastian ReShaper. What type of client would you recommend this look for?

I believe this is a great hairstyle for almost any hair type. It is a very versatile cut and color and is super low maintenance which makes it easy for on-the-go clients. Instagram Q&A with style creator, Taylor Earley Hairstylist @ Bubbles Salon in Fredericksburg, VA How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it?

I would describe this look as a natural looking summer blonde. I love the multiple tones of blonde featured in this highlight, giving her a naturally sunkissed look. What products do you recommend to maintain and recreate this look? To maintain this look at home, I recommend using purple shampoo and either a strengthening treatment or conditioning treatment once a week. My favorite purple shampoo is Blonde Sexy Hair Sulfate-Free Bright Blonde Shampoo.

For treatments, I recommend Strong Sexy Hair Core Strength Nourishing Anti-Breakage Masque and Joico Moisture Recovery Treatment Balm. To recreate this look, start in the nape and work with diagonal back sections doing babylights working up to top and sides with 30 vol lightener.

After she reached a 9-10 ,I used Dia light 10 BG with 6 vol. What type of client would you recommend this look for? This look is for clients who desire a fuller blonde look.

This client in particular has fine hair, but the color actually works for all hair types. With smaller weaved highlights, the line of demarcation becomes diffused. Instagram Q&A with style creator, Savannah White Cut / Color Specialist @ Keri Gold Salon in Atlanta, GA How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it?

My client wanted a very light, beachy blonde. My favorite thing about this transformation is how soft her blonde looks and how much it changed her complexion. What products do you recommend to maintain and recreate this look? I created this look by balayaging her entire head in very large sections. We then used the Matrix “Brass Off” shampoo and conditioner to achieve a pale blonde. I finished with a light volumizing spray before blow-drying with a large round brush. What type of client would you recommend this look for?

I would recommend this look to anyone that can’t give up their ponytail but has fine or thinning hair. The subtle layers and multi-dimensional blonde color gives the illusion of fullness and creates lots of movement. Instagram Q&A with style creator, Kelsey van Bodegom Hairstylist @ Michauds Salon and Spa in Cloverdale, B.C., Canada How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it? Once the sun comes out for summer, blondes see how they are duller and need to be freshened up.

This is a perfect way to brighten up your blonde without having to worry about a regrowth line. My favorite part about this look is that adding in the highlights gives her natural hair color dimension and depth and the color will look good both straight and with curls. What products do you recommend to maintain and recreate this look? For someone with fine hair, I always recommend a product. It really is a must have to achieve any look. When your hair is wet, I would start off with a mousse or something that will give volume.

I used Ref Root on top. This product is a root lift and allows a bit of grip to hold her curls. When creating curls, I always use a heat protector. For this look, I used Ref’s Heat Protector and I achieved the curls with a flat iron. I also recommend a purple shampoo/conditioner at home to keep up with her blonde. My favorite product for that is the Kevin Murphy Blonde Angel Wash and Blonde Angel.

What type of client would you recommend this look for? I recommend this look to anyone who wants to add definition to their blonde and not worry about showing a root when their hair is growing out.

Anyone with fine hair will do anything to create fullness, and this is a perfect way to do that without having to add more hair or change up your base color. It is also perfect for someone who can’t always get into the salon. Because we did not color her root she is able to let it grow out. Instagram Q&A with style creator, Megan Reilly Hairstylist & Colorist @ Hair Pin in New York, NY How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it? This look is a combination of long layers with a side-swooping bang combined with soft, honey-toned babylights.

What products do you recommend to maintain and recreate this look? I recommend Kevin Murphy’s Angel Wash or Plumping Wash to shampoo at the scalp/root area. Both are great for fine, color-treated strands and help with volume.

I recommend following up with Kevin Murphy’s Angel Rinse or Plumping Rinse on just the ends. Both conditioners are great for fine hair and will hydrate without added weight or greasy build-up. I would then prep damp strands with Unite’s Boosta which is great volumizing spritz from roots to ends. Blow dry the hair in medium sections with a large round brush to smooth and create volume.

Finish with Aquage’s Finishing Spray which is perfect for the humid summer months as it has anti-humectant built in to fight frizzies and flyaways while keeping your hairstyle in place. What type of client would you recommend this look for? I recommend this look for clients with finer, thinner hair types who are a natural light brunette or blonde. The bangs are great if you are trying to hide a large forehead or wrinkles.

Bangs are also a great way to open up a round, square or heart-shaped face. Oval and diamond face shapes work well with the long layered aspect of the haircut too. The hair color is the perfect option for recreating those natural summer highlights you got as a child. People will know you changed something, but they may not know what.

That is always my goal in creating natural, sunkissed summer styles! Instagram Q&A with style creator, Liza Kaleel Master Colorist @ Salon Above by Liza in Jacksonville, FL How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it?

I would describe this as a short, with shattered edges. I love that it gives a woman an instant facelift and the shattered edges create a softness around the face. What products do you recommend to maintain and recreate this look? I only use and recommend Bumble and bumble hair products. I used Holding Spray mainly at the crown and top back to give volume, and I finished with Spray de Mode which is a light hairspray with lots of shine. What type of client would you recommend this look for?

This cut and style look good on all face shapes, all ages, and all textures. The younger the client the more angled the cut. I would rock it out on top and add a flash of a very contrasting color to keep it young and updated. Instagram Q&A with style creator, Alon Shalom Stylist & Owner @ Alon Shalom Salon in West Hollywood, CA How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it?

This is a long, one-length bob that is blunt cut to create volume and thicker looking hair. The bangs are my favorite part because they add sophistication and make you look younger. What products do you recommend to maintain and recreate this look? Before blow drying, I recommend spray in the root booster from Morrocan Oil and hair thickening spray from Loreal Dencit’e. What type of client would you recommend this look for?

This type of cut is for women with fine and straight hair. If your bangs have some wave or curl, you should blow dry them with round brush.

The rest of your hair can be natural, which is actually very sexy. Instagram Q&A with style creator, Eva Abadjian Master Stylist @ Art Loris Salon in Sherman Oaks, CA How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it? This look is called a balayage.

I went ahead and lightened her ends without touching her natural root. It’s a low maintenance style and super fun for summer! My favorite part about balayage is that the client doesn’t have to go back to the salon every six weeks! What products do you recommend to maintain and recreate this look? This look is super easy to maintain too, all you need is a purple shampoo so the blonde stays nice and icey!

No one likes brassy blondes. To recreate, see your trusted stylist. This is definitely a look you don’t want to try at home. What type of client would you recommend this look for? This look is great for clients with a busy schedule and people who are on a budget because they don’t have to go back to the salon for months.

Instagram Q&A with style creator, Emily Color Coach @ Salon Legato Farmington, MI How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it? My clients and I fondly refer to this type of curl as “Pinterest Curls” because this type of textured, multi-directional beach wave is extremely popular on Pinterest! This is actually my favorite type of curl as it looks extremely natural and adds lots of texture without looking too contrived.

What products do you recommend to maintain and recreate this look? To create this look, I prep towel-dried hair with a generous amount of Aveda Thickening Tonic from roots to ends, and a pump or two of Aveda Phomollient at the roots. I then pre-dried to about 80%, finishing the blowout with a quick over-directed round brush to encourage volume. Depending on the hair thickness, I section the hair into two or three rows and clip them up. Then, I apply a quick spray of Aveda Air Control hairspray and use a 1-inch flat iron to create a loose curl.

For this look, it is important that each curl is the opposite direction of the curl next to it. That creates more interest and ensures the curls will stay defined and won’t all group together. What type of client would you recommend this look for? This look works best for my fine to medium textured clients that are looking for a quick 15-minute style that will add tons of volume and texture. Even my clients that do not have a lot of time to spend on their hair love when I teach them how to create this look because the curls are quick and not meant to be perfect.

Any length of hair that you can get a 1-inch iron around works beautifully with this technique, whether it’s down their back or a pixie with a little length on top. Instagram Q&A with style creator, Katherine Hemenway Hairstylist @ Salon De Diosa Dover, NH How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it?

I would describe this look as soft curls. My favorite thing about it is that this was a corrective color. It was all orange and we corrected it! What products do you recommend to maintain and recreate this look? I used Kevin Murphy’s Oil-Free Volumizer, followed with Session Spray to hold it into place. What type of client would you recommend this look for? This look would be great for all types of hair and face shapes as it has lots of texture and softness.

Instagram Q&A with style creator, Holly Painter Hairstylist @ The Prissy Hippie Beauty Shop in South Hill, VA How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it? I love this look! It’s natural, dimensional, and the perfect way to lighten up for summer.

I would describe this as a sandy bronde. What products do you recommend to maintain and recreate this look? I recommend a color-safe shampoo like Brazilian Bond Builder Shampoo and Conditioner and a leave-in treatment such as Matrix Instacure for her to maintain the health of the hair at home.

I used Paul Mitchell dual purpose lightener with Brazilian Bond Builder added into the formula and did babylights for easy grow out. I styled using a Babyliss Pro 1 1/4-inch iron. What type of client would you recommend this look for? I recommend this look for fine hair or someone looking for low maintenance because it gives the hair dimension without looking streaky.

Instagram Q&A with style creator, Besma Garmou Master stylist @ De Jolie Salon and Spa in Macomb, MI How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it? This is a disconnected bob that is a little longer in the front and tapers in the back with bangs that frame her face.

My favorite thing about this haircut is how thick her hair looks and how low maintenance it is to style. What products do you recommend to maintain and recreate this look? For this fine haired client, I used a root lifter and gel to add volume for a smooth look. And of course, I never blow dry hair without applying heat protection first.

What type of client would you recommend this look for? Bob haircuts are a wonderful solution for fine hair and the two lighter shades of highlights and two darker shades of lowlights add even more body and bounce to this fine, thin hair. Instagram Q&A with style creator, Nadia Elias Master Stylist @ Chatters Salon Fanshawe in London ON, Canada How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it?

I would describe this look as undone yet purposeful. These days, a lot of my clients want a textured bob that looks effortless and bohemian, but with enough structure to still look fresh and maintained.

What products do you recommend to maintain and recreate this look? All of my clients have a root booster to add support and hold during my blow dry. After round brushing, I loosely curl with my favorite long barrelled 1 1/4-inch Hot Tools curling iron, leaving the ends out and straight. Finally, I spray dry texture spray (I prefer Schwarzkopf’s Volume Up) throughout the hair and run my hands through the curls to give hold and volume, without the crunchy heavy feel of hairspray.

What type of client would you recommend this look for? Sometimes cutting fine hair can be a balancing act because these women want volume through layers, but need to keep as much hair as possible to thicken their perimeter.

To keep this in consideration, I drastically over directed while cutting layers to preserve thickness while achieving height at the root.

My client has a very thin and oblong face, so cutting her hair shorter gives the appearance of a more proportionate face shape while still being able to curl it, put it up, or style it formally.

In addition, this style is flexible because worn smooth will give it a more classic feel, while messy waves give a more free and fun look! Instagram Q&A with style creator, Niki King Senior colorist/stylist @ Shag Salon in Calgary, AB Canada How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it?

This look is a short, blunt, . My client has super dark roots but finds being lighter more pleasant. I love to balayage her highlights with a bright blonde and add in a few babylights of both a darker blond and her root color. I add her root color in so that she doesn’t need to return as often. The different colors add depth and a sense of texture to her fine hair. What products do you recommend to maintain and recreate this look? I like to use a minimal amount of product on fine haired clients.

I added Living Proof Full Thickening Mousse and finished with Puff Me Volumizing Cloud Mist. What type of client would you recommend this look for? I recommend this look for most fine haired clients. Blunt perimeters make the hair look fuller and add a weight line that stays in its shape.

I always cut her hair dry with my clippers. The line the clippers creates is very unique and sharper than if done by hand.

My client has four kids and is very busy. She doesn’t want to fuss with her hair, so this look can be quickly dried and flat ironed. As it blows around during the day, it stays in shape and still looks full.

Instagram Q&A with style creator, Vanessa Sgrott Hairstylist/Colorist @ Urbane Hair Salon in Guilford, CT How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it? I love this look for my guest because for years she’s been fighting the warmth in her hair. For us brunettes who want to be a little lighter, that tends to always be the battle.

Recently, she decided to embrace it so we warmed up her root color. We did some reddish toned lowlights and glazed her with a golden hue which ultimately lasted her eight weeks!

As far as her haircut, we did some soft layering to keep her perimeter strong. She has fine hair and if we over layer then she loses all the strength and bulk on her ends which makes it look wispy and unhealthy.

What products do you recommend to maintain and recreate this look? I always recommend a professional quality shampoo and conditioner to start. After spending money on services, I believe this is essential in maintaining your investment.

Clearly, her color would not have lasted eight weeks without that! As far as styling goes, my go-to product for all my fine haired ladies is a lightweight volumizing mousse on damp hair. I currently love Moroccan Oil Volumizing Mousse. I apply it roots to ends on damp hair and blow dry with a round brush, taking small sections and slowly twisting it as it cools to create a slight bend in the hair. What type of client would you recommend this look for? I think this look can be versatile on all clients.

This client, in particular, is low maintenance, so the haircut and styling is easy for her and she recreates it with ease. In regard to her color, now that she is out in the elements and embracing the warmth, her color lasts her a few months. When she feels too faded, we throw in a few lowlights to add in dimension and depth. I try to keep it simple and easy for all my clients.

In the real world, that is the key to keeping the client happy. If I give them something they cannot recreate or maintain daily, chances are they’ll not be happy with it and possibly may never return to your chair. I pride myself on being real with everyone who sits in my chair and retention is my number one goal.

Instagram Q&A with style creator, Karen Phengkhamhack Colour Director @ Head over Heels in Newtown, Sydney, Australia How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it? These golden toffee tones that I’ve created are from a mixture of carefully placed babylights and freehand balayage. It is zone toned so the roots are slightly darker than the hairline, mid-lengths and ends, resulting in a softer regrowth and a lived-in feel.

The color actually gets better and better with time as it starts to fade, so who doesn’t like that?! This is my go-to for effortless, low maintenance, sunkissed highlights that look like you’ve been lying on a beach on holiday! What products do you recommend to maintain and recreate this look? Invest in a good strengthening and densifying shampoo and conditioner like Kevin Murphy Plumping Wash and Rinse, as well as a weekly bond building treatment like La Biosthetique Protection Cheveux Complexe (PCC) Set Volume to keep those lightened ends super strong.

Blow dry in Kevin Murphy Body.Mass until completely dry, then starting from the nape, use the H2D 19mm curling wand to wrap hair in generous sections using a bricklay pattern to create natural cascading waves. Let the hair cool completely. Do not skip this step! Then brush the hair out using a boar bristle brush and finish with Doo.Over for a voluminous lasting hold.

What type of client would you recommend this look for? The best thing about this look is that it’s extremely versatile and can be adapted to suit shoulder-length hair or longer, as well as all face shapes. It is perfect for fine hair, which normally needs the right amount of light and shade of highlights to create fullness and texture.

The softer regrowth means a maximum of two to three salon visits a year to maintain the color, which is perfect for low maintenance clients who don’t want to come in every four to six weeks. Instagram Q&A with style creator, Stacey Khuu Artistry Independent Stylist @ Stacey Khuu Artistry in San Rafael, CA How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it?

This look is a frosty blonde with a shadow root. My favorite thing about it is how bright and dimensional it looks in contrast to the root. What products do you recommend to maintain and recreate this look? I highly recommend the Kevin Murphy Blond.Me wash and treatment and Olaplex #3 for maintenance.

What type of client would you recommend this look for? This look is for the chic fashionista who has the time and money to invest in her hair. This look can go with many face shapes and hair types as long as she can maintain the root touch ups. This look calls for either a styling wand or a 1 to 1.5-inch curling iron to achieve the waves. I used Kevin Murphy Anti.Gravity spray and the Kevin Murphy Shimmer.Me Blonde treatment spray to help style her look.

Instagram Q&A with style creator, Minttu Di Vincenzo Independent Stylist @ Essential Hair in Zürich, Switzerland How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it? I’d describe this look as sophisticated, yet playful and trendy.

My favorite thing about it is the lively color which really makes it interesting. What products do you recommend to maintain and recreate this look? I recommend using shampoo a light conditioner for colored hair. My favorite would be the Wella line which has a conditioner, especially for fine colored hair.

This will help to maintain the color and shine of this delicate tone. During the summer months, I also recommend a product like Revlon Uniq 1. It is a leave-in conditioner with UV and heat protection and also provides volume. If extra volume is wanted, I like to add the extra strong root foam from Label.m to the roots. Those light curly waves can be created with a flat or curling iron after blowdrying.

What type of client would you recommend this look for? I recommend this look for a customer with fine hair.

The color and highlights add much-needed body to fine hair. The wavy curls also give extra volume. I would say it fits well with oval and long shaped faces, and especially well for heart-shaped faces. It does take a bit of time to create this look, so it is for someone who is willing to take that extra time at the morning. This style can serve as well as a sophisticated business look, or a romantic and sexy summer style.

Instagram Q&A with style creator, Millie Kay Owner @ Pressure Salon and Spa in Toronto, Canada How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it? My favorite thing about this look is definitely the color.

I love cool tones! This is a cool red with a hint of plum. What products do you recommend to maintain and recreate this look? We created this by mixing our Redken Shades eq cream and then an Adore rinse for more vibrancy. To maintain this color, it is very important to use a color-safe shampoo. We also offer customized color shampoos to our clients to keep them as vibrant as when they first left the salon.

What type of client would you recommend this look for? I wouldn’t recommend this for someone that has artificially darkened or has a lot of damage to their hair. That combination doesn’t work for many lighter hair changes. Other than that, this color is great for everyone. You can rock this Rapunzel hair or a . It is a fun color that feels a little wild, but can also be sophisticated.

It’s all in how you wear your hair! Instagram Q&A with style creator, Bethany Smoker Independent Hairstylist @ Twisted Scissors Hair Salon in Chicago, IL How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it? I describe this look as a long, rounded bob with Betty Page bangs. We color her with a blue-black permanent color. (Framesi is the permanent line used at Twisted Scissors Chicago, where I work.) I made sure the bottom line of the shape was very blunt with no layering on the visible surface of the cut.

I elevated the hair a bit higher than 45 degrees and then did some internal collapse of the shape around the back/nape area to prevent bulkiness in that thicker area of her hair.

I chipped into the hair from underneath, cutting deep points and some small chunks close to the bottom of her hairline. This creates roundness and a gentle A-line effect, maintaining a blunt bottom line. I consulted with my client and she asked me what I would do if I could do anything. I know she likes her length for the styling options, but I cut five inches off to give her more volume and a completely different shape.

My favorite thing about the look is that it is a strong shape and color and it will be easy for my client to style. What products do you recommend to maintain and recreate this look? I recommend a light volumizing spray for blow drying. This client has very fine hair, but also a frizzy, wavy texture. She needs a product to protect from heat, add shine, plump the hair, and also smooth without residue.

Kevin Murphy’s AntiGravity spray is perfect for that weightless, shiny bounce. She can easily style this with a paddle brush or round brush, and there is enough length to curl it or add her clip-in extensions.

What type of client would you recommend this look for? The beauty of this cut is that anyone can wear it. For different hair types, I would use different texturizing techniques. The bob is a classic because it is so versatile, and every hair type and face shape can look good in it. The and Betty Page bangs are for that client with a bold style who doesn’t mind drawing attention and feeling like a major badass. Instagram Q&A with style creator, Caroline Lencyk Independent Contractor Stylist @ Beautiful Creations in Boardman, Ohio How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it?

I would describe this look as a soft, medium . My favorite thing about this look is that it does not overpower her hair’s natural texture or look. She has baby fine hair, so with these strategically placed highlights around her face, she gets texture and dimension.

What products do you recommend to maintain and recreate this look? I always recommend a color-safe shampoo and conditioner to all of my color clients. For clients with fine hair, I recommend Aquage Vitalizing Shampoo. It adds volume and strength to fine or limp hair. I recommend pairing that with the Aquage Equalizing Detangler. It gives weightless condition while equalizing porosity.

Fine hair can look flat and dull when products that are too moisturizing and heavy are used. Before styling, apply the Aquage Volumizing Treatment to towel dried hair.

It’s a foam that should be applied roots to ends and helps give volume, mend split ends, and even out porosity. What type of client would you recommend this look for?

This look can be used on anyone looking for dimension! However, the hair type must be taken into consideration before deciding how many highlights need to be placed. This client has very fine hair, so I really only placed about four foils on each side of her face frame. Someone with much denser hair would need more foils to achieve the same effect. Anything a stylist does colorwise for a fine haired client can become very exaggerated/overpowering if the stylist treats her hair the same as she would for a client with more dense hair.

Instagram Q&A with style creator, Terry Moore Lead Stylist @ Tillman Salon in Columbia, SC How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it? This is look is truly a sophisticated and luminous blonde that was created using a balayage, tease and foil technique with a gloss for an almost iridescent result.

My favorite part is how the combination of techniques give it a natural feel and a healthy look to the hair. What products do you recommend to maintain and recreate this look?

As an Aveda stylist, I would recommend Aveda’s Damage Remedy Reconstructing Masque to impart all of that herbal and botanical goodness to keep the integrity of that hair strong and healthy. What type of client would you recommend this look for? This look would be great for anyone. This look was done on someone with fine hair, which is perfect because the natural dimension creates the illusion of thicker hair.

The layers can be styled up to uplift the drooping jaw line. • Softening neck skin: The aging of the neckline gives an old look to any woman.
