Updatin Rank and Unlocks. and Connecting to Matchmaking Server . Been waiting for hours, with no response. Different games like GT 5 works perfectly fine online, the same with friends and message-functions. Thought it was the servers, but it's working for my mate. And btw, I have the newest patch for both PS and MW2. Any ideas what to do?
Hi, For a week ago my internet felt out, but its back now and everythings working, exept MW2 multiplayer. When I try to go online multiplayer I can't connect. Different games like GT 5 works perfectly fine online, the same with friends and message-functions. Thought it was the servers, but it's working for my mate. And btw, I have the newest patch for both PS and MW2. Any ideas what to do? Has been like this for around a week now. I seen this before matey - try creating a new PSN account on a newly created profile on your ps. If that works ok then try recreating your profile that you use for MW2 - remember to backup your data so that you can restore to the newly created profile or else it will be gone for good.
Hope that helps a bit. • sony.languageselect.text • M • T • W • T • F • S • S • January • February • March • April • May • June • July • August • September • October • November • December • events_x_events • events_start • events_end • events_url_text • events_upcoming • events_title • events_1_event • Posts • REGISTERED • en-gb • Search
best mw2 cant connect to matchmaking servers - cant connect to matchmaking server in MW2?
So I played DS2: SotFS for like 25 hours, then I took a break for a day or two, and after I got back, when I tried to start the game and it said "connecting to Dark Souls II server" after a few seconds the "Failed to connect to Dark Souls II server" message appeared.
At first, I though that the servers may be under maintenance, but 5 days later (tried every day to connect) the messege would still appear. So I contacted bandai namco service and after 3 weeks (nice timing) I would get a few suggestions like forwarding ports and so on...
I tried everything: forwarding the ports, re-installing steam, re-installing DS2 SotFS, but nothing helped. If you have any suggestions what to do (I have read the forums and some people have had this issue before, though no one actually wrote the solution (if there is one)) please help me, I wanna go and PvP ASAP!!! :D A few notes: I am NOT soft-banned - that was assured by bandai namco service, and Dark Souls and Dark Souls II are still able to connect to the servers, its just Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin that's acting a lil' ♥♥♥♥♥y...
Originally posted by :i try to play today and tells me it cant connect to server try yup, already tried :) here, I'll give you the full answer: Thank you for contacting Bandai Namco's Technical Support and Warranty Department. We apologize for the inconvenience. However, the online features for Dark Souls II is working as intended and restrictions for violating the EULA will not have your connection blocked in this manner.
This is generally caused by network issues, custom settings/restrictions on the router/modem, and/or issues/limitations on the ISP end (this generally applies to users outside of the North American region).
The game uses dedicated servers for matchmaking only and the stability of your online experience is still dependent on your network. We recommend forwarding the ports listed below to improve your connection to the Dark Souls II online service and the PSN service: Windows(DX11) Ports TCP : 27014~27050, 50001, 50031 UDP : 27000~27030, 3478, 4379, 4380, 50000~50004 What you would need to do is access your router from your computer and input the ports listed above to open them and allow incoming connection.
In case you aren't too familiar with this method, we would recommend contacting the manufacturer of your router/modem itself as they would be better able to assist you with the specifics behind your device. If port forwarding alone does not resolve this issue, please check your router's/modem's configuration as some have built in Firewall settings that can be turned on/off.
Please make sure the Upnp setting on the router is enabled as well. Also, if your router has an option for NAT filtering and it is set as secured/restricted, please change this to Open.
We would also recommend checking the post made by the user Nanako in the link below for additional configuration options on your router. We also recommend contacting your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to inquire if there are any Firewalls set up on your connection by default and check your current NAT Type (Type 1 recommended) as having a Type 2 or 3 connection can prevent you from connecting to the servers.
We would also recommend checking to see if the ports listed are blocked by default on the ISP end as well. We also recommend checking to make sure you don't have any other devices accessing your network as having multiple devices/items can cause network issues as well( Laptops, Computers, Tablets, smart phones, etc.) Additionally, we recommend checking the configuration of your Network Security as it may be a type that has increased security/restrictions as well.
Checking to make sure your Router's Maximum Transmission Unit isn't restricted or reduced is important as well as there is a possibility that this is restricting the outgoing connection and preventing you from connecting/communicating with the servers. (we were informed to set this value around 1492 or higher from other users who have responded back) We would recommend refreshing your Steam files as it's possible it may be something caused by a file on Steam.
We also received a few recommendation from other users to try this particular workaround via Steam for Network Issues as . We would also recommend checking your active programs in the Task Manager as we had reports of random programs which conflicted with this title (ex: traffic limiter application called NetBalancer) and there is a possibility that one of those programs may be running in the background and preventing you from playing online.
Finally, we have also received reports from other players that Anti-Virus programs(some users recommend uninstalling Norton from their PC), Windows Defender(common cause for many users), and PC Firewalls (separate from router/modem firewalls) have blocked some users from connecting and would recommend checking to make sure these programs are disabled as well. There has also been cases where some users require additional time to connect to the servers.
Whenever you try to log in, please select the OK option when you are unable to connect to the server as some users have been able to connect by selecting the OK (Retry) option multiple times at the Start Menu. You can try one of the other 12 sites listed as official download sites on their page (see links). If you cannot get it to download, be sure you have the space and user rights to get the game - you may also try one of the free download clients on the internet that helps keep alive downloads (GetRigh … t, Net Transport, etc) Generally when one uses a server, one has at least some idea of what they want to do with it, if not how.
Ubuntu Server can be used for many different purposes, including a web server, a print server, a mail server, and a DNS server. Without any indication of what it is you wanted to do, it is impos … sible to tell you how to do it. It installs as administrator by default but if it doesn't then do so. The error means something is blocking you from connecting to the servers, as they're not shut down most of the time.
In my case, it was the application Peerblock, but make sure to unblock it on your firewall or proxy and look at y … our anonymity applications. Same thing is happening to me.. :( After a while of searching the web.. There are many explanations as to why this is happening, It is either: Your internet is slow, (Refresh your router/gateway) You are using an older version of fiesta, (Make sure you have the right version!) Your firewall … is blocking fiesta, (Disable firewall for 5 mins, then start up fiesta) These are the explanations i have found..
yet i have tried all of them.. Some people say it lasts for a day or two, others say it has been happening for 8 months! :( I have un-installed then re-installed the game twice.. Nothing has worked.. good luck bro, hope i helped. The login server might be down, or there might be a problem between your internet connection and Blizzard servers.
Check the World of Warcraft forums to see if anyone else is having the problem. If when you are checking the forums, an error page comes up from Blizzard (not your browsers error page) … stating that the site is down for maintenance, it would probably be a good indication they are working on the servers at the moment.
