Re: Matchmaking server picker uninstall. What is Matchmaking Server - ProcessChecker Matchmaking Server is known as MatchmakingServerPickerCsharp2 and it is developed by Microsoft. We have seen about 1 different instances of Matchmaking Server in different location Re: Matchmaking server picker uninstall. Matchmaking server picker doesn't work for me - reddit That's how Server Picker works. It blocks any connections with certain servers, so you don't connect to them in matchmaking. EU East and RussiaEU North are going to have the most Russians, but you'll also get plenty on EU West.
You require the following two files- 1. Microsoft net framewrok 3.5 or above will work - link to version 4.5 2. [Official] MM Server Picker 2.2 + Test your ping! - '> Steps- 1. Download and install Microsoft net framework.
2. Download and extract the '> file. 3. right click on the extracted file . click on properties then compatibility then check the box RUN THIS PROGRAM AS AN ADMINISTRATOR .
4 . Now select the server you want to play on. And click apply. 5. Minimize the server picker and continue playing! Enjoy PS - NOTRON or other antivirus might detect the server picker as a virus of WS1 reputation because it restricts you to Indian server.
Rest assured, it isn't a virus . If you have any other doubts feel free to ask in comments below .

But it still pick Russian and Poland players into my matchmaking. Frequency is slightly lower but when it pick 4/5 Poland into my team and 2 Poland and 2 Russian into oposite team, well it doesn't work quite well...
This comunity just ruined my enjoying of this game. • Vor year Hey! I used the server picker software in order to play with western europeans. Now, after I deleted it, I have matchmaking problems - meaning everytime I try to enter matchmaking it fails because I "failed to accept the match". I used mm_session_max_ping in my console and maybe some others, and I pretty much broke my game.
When searching it also says under the searching text: "Your best ping for official servers is 60ms" (yellow text) PROBLEM is that reinstalling the game didn't fix the problem. I deleted the Local Files through Steam and then deleted the CSGO folder in the Steam Directory, no success. Are there any other folders of CSGO? Any other fix, guys? • Vor 2 years I tried that last night, and it doesn't work.
No matter what you do, it will use the relays to test ping and then choose the server you are trying to avoid. I live in Vietnam, and am trying to avoid SG/HK... I connected to VPN in UK and it still put me in SG server with 500 ping. The only way I could do anything was to restart steam with VPN on and then restart CS and finally it connected me to the server closest to the VPN exit. • Vor year +Russian Girl stfu. Obviously you dont understand our problems. Russians either suck or they hack.
And if they are in your team all they do is talk and talk and talk nonstop. They make shitty calls and no matter when im playing, they are always up. At night time, in the morning...they are everywhere. And im pretty sure thats the only reason why theres something as a server picker. Thats why Valve considers only letting Russians play against Russians •
It's called "Matchmaking Server Picker" and it's available on I made this program initially because of the recently introduced middle east servers, which as everyone from that region will tell you are filled with hackers. My ping was under 100 for the first time in csgo, but the players make the servers unbearable.
The problem is that if you get lower than ~80ms to the Dubai servers then you will be locked to them, and the matchmaking search will not put you in any other server, even if there's no one to play against. So I got the ips from typing status in the console and blocked them in my windows firewall, and that stopped me from being put into them again. Later I found that there are 3 server locations in Europe: EU East (Vienna), EU West (Luxembourg), and EU North (Stockholm, but valve calls it "Russia" in dota 2's server picker for some reason), and i decided to make a complete list of all the server IP ranges, so people who hate playing on certain servers can block them.
It took me a few days to get all the ips (I searched for a match, accepted, typed status, got the ip, blocked it, repeated in another game, until I had blocked all the ip ranges and wasn't able to find a game anymore) After I released it some friends told me about other uses for it: - Players in Sweden/Denmark/Finland are tired from playing with people who don't speak English from Russia, so they are blocking the Russian servers and playing on the EU West servers where there are more English speakers.
(people from the UK/Germany/France play there) - Some people in South America where having problems with the Brazilian servers because people there speak Portuguese instead of Spanish like the rest of South America, so they block Brazil and play on US. - Recently people in America are reporting bad performance from the US East servers (10% choke for some people) so they can block US East and play on US West. You can also see your ping to all the servers under their name.
Hope this is useful to some of you. glhf. well it's certainly not for everyone, but for new players it's a really good way to get into the competitive side of the game. It matches you with people that are similarly skilled, and gives you a ranking which you can work on getting better (which increases the level of reward someone gets from the game).
csgo wouldn't be nearly as successful as it is now if it weren't for mm. i disagree.. mm is for casuals and 5 man queue in a rank system to queue up to a higher rank in a pug system doesnt even show a true indivdiual skill cuz they are cheating a rank system.
and cases, skins, and the market and csgolounge are the reasons why csgo got big.without all that nobody would play it. MM is best place to start your competetive story. If you playing for first time FPS games or CS you can learn and to not be afraid that youll be bashed by some good players.
If you are playing pug and you arent good, you can be easly destroyed by better players, since there is no rankin system. Also, mm is known as a casual 5v5 (buytime, c4 timer, skill groups) and people can find themselfs on some lvl and play vs players with same skill group. But on pugs, its impossible. MM is best choice for newbei in FPS games. dude i remember the 1.6 days, i had over 2000 hours in the game when i was 12-13 and i never completed a single scrim. I'd find a server with 8 or 9/10 and join, get shit on for a few rounds with people from both teams calling me a noob and telling me to go kill myself, then I'd leave and go back to my multimod servers.
I would've never played competitive if it weren't for matchmaking. and who cares if someone "learns bad habits" or w/e, they aren't going pro mate, they just want to play, it's only a game. get shit on for a few rounds with people from both teams calling me a noob and telling me to go kill myself, then I'd leave and go back to my multimod servers.
so people in matchmaking dont do this now lmao...people do this in every pug i play in.. the problem what you did back in the day was to leave and stop playing and go play in pub servers.
instead of actually getting better in the game by scrimming.and nobody is saying your going pro.you learn the basics and tips and tricks to outsmart the team and players so u can be better at the game.when ur playing a pug system or mm in general ur clearly runnning around doing whateva just to get frags instead of playing angles and holding sites or flashing smoking and nading.
If you think that newbies will watch demos instead of trying to play mm, youre wrong. It would be bad experience for them if they try with mixes and scirms on pugs cuz there is no ranking system there, and they can play vs people who have a lot hours, and good knowlege about game.
So best for newbies is MM for start, to introduce with game. What kind of benefits you get from playing with 5 ping? Nothing. It's pretty annoying when you already get around corner and Igor Bobrovski-Svetlana kills you with awp+100ping when you can't even see him anymore.
Last night I tried this software and I find it really helpful in 2 ways. You really can speak English and players have equal pings. All the players pings were in the same range, between 20~. If you play in EU East pings may wary between 5-120. I assure you that it's avast messing up, I even have the source uploaded if any programmers want to check on it and compile it themselves: www.mediafire.com/download/11stjyj9h55vpw5/MatchmakingServerPicker2.7z also if you don't want to use the exe then you can use the bat files inside the data folder.
the exe just acts as an interface to make it easier to use. (the blockeun bat will block the russian servers) did you select US East only? make sure to set your max ping (mm_dedicated_search_maxping) to 350.
also pick dd2 as the map, and go to "play with friends" instead of "find a game" so you can re-go when it does that. (i played in the brazilian servers after brazil lost to germany more than once with the name "1:7 :(" got kicked one of the times XD (didn't use mic or chat at all..
just had the name) Penisista, I don't know why it's like this.. but it seems like something changed with the matchmaker making it take long to put you in servers which aren't close to you. I was able to connect to the US East servers after selecting only US East and waiting in lobby for 6 minutes with mm_dedicated_search_maxping 350.. I don't know why it's not working for you :\ it gave me that error a 2 times before it finally let me get an accept button.
edit: I also only checked dd2. (having too many maps sometimes makes it take longer to find a game I think.. "I am from Dubai, and there's servers in Dubai but they are filled with hackers (even overwatch doesn't work here), so i want to play on EU servers. Max Matchmaking Ping can't help me.
So i made this program. glhf." Hahaha now I understand why I there are so many cheaters from Dubai/Kuwait on west EU servers.. they simple do as you do Because it's cheaper this way. Russia and Sweden are basically the same country when it comes to pings, however, Swedish servers are more useful when it comes to other target groups. Russian servers would only be good for Russians, some percentage of players from Baltic states (those on providers with good peering with Russia), Ukrainians, Swedish, Finnish and probably that's it.
While Swedish servers are good for virtually all of the users from those areas, excluding Ukraine (though Ukraine has a good connection with the other EU servers, so it doesn't matter), and might be useful for users of some providers from other places as well. For instance, I ping around 22-25 to those Stockholm servers and would ping as much as 60+ to any Moscow IP, because that's how the peering works. It all comes down to money, really.
Presumably they live far away. If Sweden occupied those lands (that those players live in) they would probably ping more or less the same. If, on the other hand, Sweden occupied e.g. Germany (and the territories shared the same infrastructure), Germans would ping lower on average to Stockholm than they do now. Do you get it now? In other words, Sweden is already connected to Russia as good as it can, which typically isn't the case for lands occupied by different political entities.
For example, Germans ping higher to France and French ping higher to Germany than Swedish do to Russia and Russians do to Sweden (considering the distances between players and servers), and so do most players around Europe.
There are only few exceptions to that, that is, where players from different countries would be so well connected, and Sweden and Russia is one of them. cArn mentioned in one of his podcasts that back in 1.6 days Swedish pros used to practice a lot with Russians and on Russian servers. It's very natural given how does the technical infrastructure look and how much 1.6 is ping sensitive. That's a huge ping. I played with guys from Moscow yesterday, they ping ~18 to Stockholm server, ~35 to Luxembourg (EU West) and ~65-70 (EU East) to Vienna.
I was testing your software, switching between servers all the time. Not to check a pings, but rather to see what the experience on each of them is like. Well, if your goal is to avoid Russians, then definitely yes. If your goal is to avoid Russian language, then I really don't know. On EU East you would meet a lot of people from places like Moldova or Ukraine, of whom Russian language might be the preferred way to communicate (and who are super unlikely play on e.g.
EU North server because peering between that region and Sweden is very bad). Though those are as much likely to redirected to EU West servers as well, because the pings for them there would more of less be the same. The group that on average would ping better to Vienna than to Luxembourg (apart the Austrians themselves) are the customers of a large number of internet providers in like Balkan region, CZ/SK, Hungary, Italy, Switzerland and Germany perhaps.
Hence, I would rather call it EU South/East server. This doesn't solve anything for the people that don't want to play with Russians for example. It only bans out russian servers but not russian players. Russian players are still able to play on EU servers. So basicly decreasing your MM max ping would do the same thing. This is only usefull in situations like if I want to play on NA servers only for example. my bad, i had not launched the program as a administrator.
Once i did it works great. ps: amazing program, I live Canary Islands (Atlantic Ocean), and have almost the same ping difference between EU East and US East). My best servers are no doubt those in EU West region anyway. US EAST CANARY ISLANDS EU WEST This is fuc**** horrible software. I enabled it for the weekend and we just found out that the software is the reason why our 5-stack has not been able to queue for the whole time.
READ: if the software is on / off, it doesn't matter. Once you have modified the firewall, you need to reset your firewall again, not with the software. Delete this shitty program :D Working for me and all of my friends, if it doesn't work for you then it's your fault not the program's fault. If you read the page and use it correctly then you wouldn't have any problems but seems like reading is overrated for some people.
(I wrote on the gamebanana page that clicking reset removes all the rules that the program added to your firewall)
