The Best Witch Doctor Build for Season 12 & 13 Arachyr Firebats Witch Doctor Diablo 3 Patch 2.6.1 Arachyr Firebats provides the highest damage out of all Witch Doctor builds and is the most suitable for high GR pushing for both solo and groups.
This build may feel squishy at times, and requires a little bit of experience in kiting and positioning. To check the full list of our Best Diablo 3 builds visit: Table of contents • General information • Recommended items • Recommended skills General information The entire build is based on the Spirit of Arachyr set which provides the following bonuses: • Summons a permanent Spider Queen who leaves behind webs that deal 4000% damage over 5 seconds and Slow enemies by 60%.
The Spider Queen is commanded to move where Corpse Spiders are cast (2/6) • Hex gains the effect of Toad of Hugeness rune. After Toad of Hugeness is summoned, the Witch Doctor is healed for 10% of maximum Life per second and takes 50% less damage for 15 seconds (4/6) • The damage of creature skills is increased by 4500%.
Creature skills are Corpse Spiders, Plague of Toads, Firebats, Locust Swarm, Hex, and Piranhas (6/6) Arachyr Firebats build provides one of the highest dps in Diablo 3. If you check Ladderboards, most of the 4-men teams will have an Arachyr WD in them. This, however, comes at a cost. Arachyr Witch Doctors are rather hard to play.
While maintaining single target dps on bosses is not hard, applying Locust Swarm and Haunt to multiple enemies might be tricky. The build's "rotation" is basically all about: • Keeping the Hex damage reduction buff at all times (provided by 4/6 set bonus) • Applying Haunt and Locust Swarm on enemies to benefit from the Ring of Emptiness effect (not to mention extra mana regen. from Haunt, and damage reduction from LS) - this step might require certain amount of experience, you need to be able to visually identify which enemies have the debuffs applied to them • Keeping 10 stacks of Soul Harvest up • Channeling Firebats - as long as around 50% of trash has the debuffs applied to them, or all of the Elites in range do • Use Spirit Walk for faster movement or in emergency situations Odealo is a secure trading platform for MMO gamers.

Role in the Current Meta This build is ranked as a High Tier solo pushing build for its class in the current Season. If high leaderboard position without strict adherence to the meta is attractive to you, consider using this build. This build is oriented mostly at solo Rifting (Greater and Normal).
Due to its mediocre mobility on long distances, it is not recommended for Bounties. It is also not recommended for group Greater Rifts past the point where every party member can handle the content on his own. 5.
